Go Left Right Shuffle Shuffle
NEUTRAL weight, Feet slightly active, hands active and OFF knees
On steal Drive left arm across body, stay low
3ish steps peak in to SEE what batter/ball has done if you continue, you peak again at 3 quarters the distance to the base so YOU KNOW where to slide, IF to slide, or IF you are rounding base on high throw, lost ball by catcher.

Secondary leads x 25
Use a Base (book, pillow, towel)
Go Left Right Shuffle Shuffle
NEUTRAL weight, Feet slightly active, hands active and OFF knees
On first and Second stay low shuffling across the ground 2/3 times but on final shuffle
Weight is NEUTRAL and ready to break to next base or return with a dive back.
From third base,
Walking secondary lead
With intent but under control
Right foot, Left foot, Right foot lands
You should be just outside foul line NEUTRAL
Ready to step in baseline taking away throwing lane from catcher to third or ready to break home on hit/past ball/wild pitch

OUT and SAFE is determined with these aggressive leads, and more aggressive secondaries!

Hitting to Consider
Use this time to mentally and physically train your approach at the plate
A great hitter swings far less at the plate than a bad one RIGHT?

Why is that? Great hitters only swing with 0 or 1 strike when they get their exact pitch to hit!
Great hitters will put that ball in play hard far more often than any old swing at any old strike or fastball because bad hitters are scared to hit with 2 strikes.

Since Great Hitters put the ball in play far more often they also hit with 2 strikes far less.
Great Hitters do not fear hitting with 2 strikes because they have confidence with every swing they take great damage will be done to the baseball. They also build confidence by knowing the umpires strike zone long before they get in the box because they PAY ATTENTION during both their teammates at bats and the other team’s at bats.

Stride and Take x100 (Follow the ball with your Face not just the corner of your eyes into the catch mitt)
Get your weight correct with weight back after your initial LOAD (hips shift, stride, heal lifts, many options for the load) but what always has to be true is your LOAD/front foot have to be down and ready early, maybe even very early with 2 strikes so you can use your LOWER body to propel your Hands and Bat through the zone.
